Carson City Fire Department Ambulance Service

Medical symbolDid you know the paramedic ambulance service provided by your fire department is not a tax based agency? It is funded by the collection of user fees which enable us to keep ambulance fees lower.

A paramedic ambulance service is very costly to operate which requires user rates to run over $900 a trip. Those fortunate enough to have insurance still are only covered for a portion of the charges, which can leave a sizable out-of-pocket expense.

When you or a member of your family have a medical emergency, you shouldn't have to worry about paying for ambulance service. Carson City offers a membership program called CC-CARE+. With CC-CARE+ you will receive the best paramedic ambulance service possible as often as medically needed. What if you live in Carson City and choose not to join this program? All people in Carson City will receive the same paramedic ambulance service regardless of membership. The difference is that members will not have to pay user fees while non-members will.

One single trip will more than save the cost of the annual membership. CC-CARE+ is the best investment you can make to protect yourself and your family.

ambulanceAnyone who resides in the geographical area covered by the Carson City Fire Department (CCFD) is eligible to join.
